DecorMuse Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app DecorMuse, operated by Snippai LLC. DecorMuse is an AI interior-design service: you photograph your own room, choose a style direction, and the service creates AI-generated interior renders that preserve the room's geometry. DecorMuse is offered in the United States only for now.

1. Data We Collect

• Anonymous device id. DecorMuse v1.0 has no account, email, name, or Google Sign-In. The app generates a random device id on first launch and sends it as X-DecorMuse-Device so uploads, rounds, credits, and reports can be tied to that install.
• Room photos and optional inspiration images. You choose these with the Android photo picker, or take a new room photo with your camera inside the app. DecorMuse does not request broad photo-library access.
• Edit messages and chip choices. Free-form edit messages are interpreted into a fixed set of design operations before rendering.
• Generated renders, share assets, design boards, and edit history. These power the design board, undo/refine flow, and before/after sharing. Boards you save are stored on your phone, not on our servers, until you delete them or your data.
• Purchase and credit data. Google Play and RevenueCat provide product, transaction, subscription, credit, and refund information so DecorMuse can grant and spend concept-round credits.
• Reports and moderation records. If you report a render, DecorMuse stores the report reason and the render reference for review.
• Server logs. Request metadata and errors may be kept for security and debugging.

2. What We Do Not Collect in v1.0

• No accounts, email addresses, names, passwords, or Google Sign-In.
• No advertising SDKs, advertising ID, analytics SDK, or crash-reporting SDK.
• No location, contacts, or microphone permission. The camera permission is used only when you choose to take a room photo in the app; DecorMuse never uses the camera in the background.
• No access to your photo gallery. Saving a design to your photos only writes the image (with its AI-generated watermark); DecorMuse never reads your gallery.
• No facial recognition, face templates, faceprints, or biometric identifiers.
• No sale of data and no use of data for advertising.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data to read the room, moderate uploads and edit requests, generate renders, keep the app's credit ledger accurate, support undo/refine/share features, review reports, and operate the service safely. Your raw chat edit text is not sent to the image model as raw text; it is first mapped to DecorMuse's fixed design-operation vocabulary.

4. Third-Party Processors

• Google Gemini 2.5 Flash receives room photos for moderation and scene extraction, and edit text for moderation and interpretation.
• Anthropic Claude API may receive room photos and edit text for the same moderation, scene-extraction, and interpretation purposes when it is used as an alternate provider.
• Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Image receives metadata-stripped, downscaled room or inspiration photos and the assembled render prompt to generate the restyled room image.
• OpenAI receives edit text for interpretation when the primary interpreter is unavailable, and metadata-stripped, downscaled room or inspiration photos with the render prompt to generate a render when the primary image model is unavailable.
• RevenueCat receives the device id as its app user id and purchase/subscription data for purchase validation.
• Google Play Billing processes purchases and subscriptions.
• Fly.io hosts the DecorMuse service and the purchase and credit ledger. Tigris (Fly.io's object storage) keeps private backups of that ledger.

5. Retention

• Uploaded room and inspiration photos are deleted after 30 days, sooner on deletion.
• Renders, share assets, edit history, and reports tied to an install are deleted when you delete your data, or after 90 days without activity.
• Account/data deletion is completed within 30 days.
• Report evidence is kept for 30 days after the report.
• Server logs are kept for up to 14 days.
• Purchase and credit ledger records may be anonymized and kept for accounting.

6. Deleting Your Data

You can delete your DecorMuse data in the app under You → Delete account & data. Because DecorMuse has no login, emailed deletion requests must include the data reference shown in the app. See Delete your DecorMuse data.

7. Children

DecorMuse is for adults 18 and older. Do not use DecorMuse if you are under 18. If uploaded photos include children, the adult user must have the authority to consent on the child's behalf.

8. Changes

We may update this privacy policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date and, for material app changes, may also be shown in the app.
